RK/PMK: Chapter 19

Notes for this chapter: I mainly started writing the entire series because I wanted to write some cool battles between several characters in the RK and PMK mythos. Never have I ever thought that I would get to this point where I would eventually be writing a battle between Okita Souji and Seta Soujirou. Seriously... this battle is a complete deviation from my outline for the story. I had thought it would be cool to see the kid fight Hiko (which happened), or maybe write a rematch between Kenshin and the kid (which maybe happening), or maybe crib off of that 2-parter reimagining of the Kyoto Arc in Rurouni Kenshin (Saitou versus Soujirou.... which may also be happening)... and now I have this... thing... on my hands. I just hope I do it justice in the next chapter.
Also, I'll say it again, Saitou is not dead. He's my favorite character in RK and there is no way I'll be killing him in my series. Injuring him on the other hand is a given - actually, that's a given for any character who stumbles into the series. See you next chapter!
