A car for me, for free?
So Mom wants to buy me a car, she doesn't want to buy me one however until I get more driving experience. I can't get driving experience unless I (a) have a friend willing to hand over his car once in a while to a person with no insurance or (b) take a few more drivers ed courses which is stupid since I already have my license. So lately I've been pretty bummed out.
But today I was hanging out with Jeff and he informed me that in April he plans on getting a new car. Why do I care? Because if he gets the new car he's handing over his P.O.S. over to me free of charge. Sure it has 200k+ miles on it, but its a Toyota and has power windows and doors, an alarm system and probably will be good to last another 6 months to a year (having a boyfriend mechanic also helps). Also, insurance on it will be pretty damn cheap, only $252 down all at once every 6 months.
So yes, come next month I will have my first car, YAY. And if all goes well with it acquire the necessary experience needed for mommy to maybe buy me a car as a graduation present.
