free food always tastes better
Since Christian's dad is leaving for Europe for three months, we went out to dinner with him and a whole bunch of Lebanese women (no joke) last night. I just can't turn down a free meal, especially when it's at an expensive restaurant that I wouldn't normally afford. Anyway, I drank a shit load of Sierra Nevada's and had the Herb Crusted Salmon with asparagus and mashed potatoes...yuuuummmm!!! I spent most of the evening conversating with myself, partly because Christian's dad just likes hearing himself talk and the Lebanese women spoke in Lebanese. It was an interesting evening to say the least. Two of the Lebanese women were really hot, they were tall and thin and looked like freakin supermodels. But it was so funny because from what I could get from their thick accents they couldn't eat anything on the menu because it was too fattening. They ended up sharing the Brushetta, which is really just an appetizer that consists of flat bread, basil, tomatoes and olive oil. And they kept looking at my plate and asking if I was really going to eat all of that. Poor ladies, they're willing to sacrifice food just for the sake of looking good. I wouldn't be surprised if they went to the bathroom afterwards and puked up their appetizer together.
