I blame
blahchiharu, because she wanted me to write fic in the first place. HERE YOU GO, CHIHA.
Oh, and yes, they're still Juniors in this fic.
Special thanks to
togechan for helping me with this fic.
When the doorbell rang that one late June evening, both of the two people who were then present at the Yamada family residence were surprised.
“Eh, Yuto, what are you doing here?” was the reaction of the Yamada family’s eldest son. He stepped back from the door and let his friend in, saying, “Oagari kudasai...”
His mother looked up from the TV at the door and asked, “Yuto-chan’s here?”
The Nakajima boy bowed to Yamada-mama and said, “Ojamashimasu.” He straightened himself back up and looked at Yamada and said, “You told me you couldn’t get a dance move down and asked me to help, right, Yama-chan?”
Yamada scratched his head for a moment, trying to remember if he had ever said anything like that. He did have a little trouble with the move from that one part of Hey!Say!, but did he ever ask Yuto to help?
“Um...back at the Shounen Club practice hall?” Yuto reminded.
“OH!”
The younger Junior laughed, “So, where do you want to practice?”
“Kaa-san?” Yamada inquired.
“Living room is fine. Just as long as you don’t break anything,” she replied. Yamada-mama looked at the clock and gasped. “Oh no! I’m late! Ryosuke, I’m going to go pick up your sister now, okay?” She immediately rose from her seat and grabbed a jacket and her keys. Before leaving out the door, she instructed, “Boys, don’t do anything bad while I’m gone, okay?” She winked, leaving Yuto looking clueless and Yamada looking scandalized.
“KAA-SAN!” he yelped, just as she closed the door on both of them.
“What was that all about?” Yuto pressed.
Yamada stammered, turning red, “N-nothing! Y-you know my mother, c-crazy old lady!”
“But she’s thirty-eight.”
“She’s convinced she’s old.”
“It’s not that old…”
“She panicked today because she found a wrinkle. She acted like some of the girls our age do when they see pimples.”
“O…kay…” Yuto coughed.
Yamada shrugged. “Anyway, back to helping me with the dance move?”
“Ah, that’s right,” Yuto nodded, then he proceeded to demonstrate.
--
Thirty minutes later, Yamada danced the move to the music like it was second nature, just like he was always instructed to when he had first begun practicing dancing in Johnny’s by the first choreographer he met.
“Ahhh, that’s much better than in the practice hall!” Yuto grinned. “You’ve learned well.”
“But you’re a good teacher,” Yamada replied. “Speaking of which…you know how I’m acting in Tantei Gakuen Q, right?”
“Uh, yeah-as Amakusa Ryuu?”
“I’m not confident I’ll act him well…”
“But you did a good job in the special last year!”
“I haven’t improved one bit from last year.”
Yuto caught on to what he was saying. “I understand. You want me to give you acting tips, then?”
Yamada nodded. “Please?”
“Okay,” he smiled. Yuto folded his hands behind his head and thought of exactly how to approach this; he hadn’t acted in a drama for a while now…
His student, on the other hand, stared at him with much attention, as if about to copy his exact moves, down to the intervals between his blinking and how often he took a breath.
“Hmm…first of all, I guess, forget that you’re Yamada Ryosuke and pretend you’re your character-in this case, Amakusa Ryuu. So, pretend you aren’t a fourteen-year-old Johnny’s Junior in the Hey!Say!7 unit, and be a fourteen-year-old detective prodigy in the Q Class.”
“…how am I supposed to do that?” Yamada gave him a blank look.
“Okay…looks like we’re going to have to do some role-playing exercises, then,” Yuto sighed. He thought for a while for a scenario, then said, “Okay, pretend I’m a middle-school girl and you’re a high-school-senpai who’s just saved me from some bad guys.”
The older of the two stood there, staring at Yuto, picturing him as a girl-which oddly worked. However, he was at a loss of what to say.
“Okay, you know what? I’ll start.” Yuto took a deep breath, putting himself in the scenario he came up with, and suddenly bowed. “Arigatou gozaimasu, senpai!” he said, high voice and all.
Yamada stifled a laugh, and said, “It was nothing!”
“Are you hurt?”
“Etto...not really...” Yamada gave a sheepish smile. “My hand hurts a little from hitting that big guy, but…”
“Eh?! Honestly! You didn’t have to do that for my sake!” Yuto gave him a look that almost reflected that of a kicked puppy. He grabbed Yamada’s hand and pretended to wrap something over it.
“Ah…thank you…”
Yuto then put on an expression that seemed to be shy and trying to say something. “Ano…you know, senpai…for a while now, I’ve…really liked you!” He put his hands over his cheeks and turned away, just like a real girl would.
Yamada couldn’t help but laugh. “You’re cute~”
Yuto smirked and replied in his normal voice, turned toward Yamada again, “Was that directed toward the character or the person acting?”
When Yamada didn’t answer, Yuto laughed and pressed his lips to Yamada’s mouth for a brief moment before pulling away to see what his reaction would be. When Yamada began to blush, Yuto grinned, “You’re cute, too~”
The shorter pouted, protesting, “What was that for?”
Yuto ignored him and said, “Maa...your acting certainly could use some work...maybe let’s try to go in character for Amakusa Ryuu. I’ll be…um…Kyuu!” He grabbed the nearby manga volume of Tantei Gakuen Q, and flipped through it, looking for a scene to act. “Oh hey…a fight between Ryuu and Kyuu…maybe we should do that.”
Before Yamada could protest, he was already pinned to the floor. Quite uncomfortably, too. “Yuto…this kind of hurts…”
Yuto, on the other hand, enjoyed this a little too much, and feigned being caught up in the scenario. “Ryuu! You’re a part of the Q Class! You can’t just leave us like that!”
Yamada sighed, knowing he couldn’t get himself out of this. So then, he channeled the spirit of Amakusa Ryuu through him and began to wear a cold expression on his face. “Kyuu. Let go of me.”
“No!”
“Stop trying so hard. I can’t change who I’m related to.”
“Then at least let us help with your problems…”
“Why do you care so much?”
“Because, Ryuu…you’re my friend!”
Yamada paused for a while, thinking about what exactly to reply in this ad-libbed situation. Before he could piece together anything, though, Yuto grew impatient and kissed Yamada again. This time was longer, and made Yamada turn even redder when Yuto let go of his arms and pushed himself back up from on top of him.
Yama-chan managed to sputter out, “Kyuu’d never do anything like that to Ryuu!”
“Yama-chan kawaii~” he giggled.
Yamada pouted. “Yuto, why are you kissing me so much today?” As a Johnny, he was used to Yuto randomly kissing him offstage, but this felt a bit different than usual. Besides, Yuto hadn’t done it for a few months now.
Yuto ignored him again. “That was a better job than the first time. Let’s try one more, though…” He thought for a moment and then blurted out, “Now pretend you’re a cute, shy girl who’s new in class, and I’m the guy sitting next to you who won’t stop flirting with you.”
“Hey!” Yamada protested again. “That’s unfair! Putting me on the spot again…”
Yuto only gave him a mischievous smile. “You start this time, ne.”
Yamada sighed, and then began to think of what to say. Then, in just as ridiculous a high voice like Yuto used in their last exercise, he said, “O-ohayou gozaimasu! I’m”-he paused, trying to think of a girl’s name; he settled with the first name that sounded similar to a girl’s that came to mind, instead-“Y-Yaotome Hikaru! Y-yoroshiku onegashimasu!” He bowed.
Yuto immediately burst into a bout of laughter at the name Yamada had chosen. “You chose Hikaru’s name?!”
Yamada crossed his arms and said, “I thought we were still practicing!” When Yuto wouldn’t cease laughing, he added, “Don’t tell him I did this, though…” Yuto replied with more laughter. “Stop laughing!”
Yuto took a few deep breaths and beamed at him, wiping some tears that had come to his eyes from laughing so much. “Okay, okay, back to the matter at hand…” He deepened his voice and commanded like a sensei, “Yaotome-san, take the seat next to Ayukawa-kun, in the back, then. For the time being, until we get books for you, just move the desk next to his and share.”
Yamada replied, “Hai…” Both he and Yuto walked across the room to the couch, sitting down on it. Miming desk-moving, he moved close to the taller Johnny. It took him a moment to finally realize what Yuto was alluding towards with his last line. When he noticed it, he raised an eyebrow at him. “You just reversed their roles.”
“I know,” he smirked. He kept that grin on his face, and held out a hand, saying, “Hajimemashite, Yaotome-san! I’m Ayukawa Taiyou. I hope we can become good friends.”
Keeping in-character, Yamada gingerly took the hand and lightly shook it.
A long pause occurred, then Yuto, looking bored, spoke up again. “Ne~ you know, Yaotome-san, you’re kind of cute~”
“A-ano, Ayukawa-kun, I-I think you should pay a-attention to sensei instead o-of mindlessly fl-flattering me…”
Yuto only gave a short chuckle before placing a hand underneath Yamada’s butt and squeezing. He let out a squeaky yelp, and Yuto wasn’t exactly sure if it were Yamada or him just being in-character. Trapping him in place with his other arm, Yuto gave him a seductive look. “Really…cute.”
The next thing Yamada knew, he was being held down onto the couch. Yuto was still looking at him with those eyes.
“You know…it’s much more fun to say it this way.”
“Say what?”
“I like you,” he smiled. Then he pulled himself down to kiss Yamada again while he still looked at him with wide eyes when he finally comprehended what was just being said to him. Against his lips, he murmured, “Really like…”
Pushing himself down a little more, he made Yamada aware of exactly what was bugging him right then and here. Yamada quickly caught on, feeling his leg brush against the growing bulge in the other boy’s pants.
Yuto felt Yamada’s mouth curl upward into a smile before he whispered, “You’re too forward…”
The next thing Yuto felt was a leg swung over his waist and two arms lightly brushing against his bare abdomen, moving to his sides, then his shirt slowly inching up off of his skin until it reached the base of his arms and shoulders.
Yuto broke the kiss and smirked at Yamada. “Oh, I’m the forward one now, am I…” He then pulled his shirt over his head and off his arms, letting it fall to the floor.
When the taller of the two buried his face next to Yamada’s neck and began to nibble lightly, Yamada gasped, “You know...are we still acting?”
Yuto chuckled and moved his hands to Yamada’s collar in order to begin unbuttoning his shirt. “If we are, then, you make a bad Hikaru and I’m a bad Taiyou.”
When Yuto got to the last button, Yamada smirked, and said, “We’re supposed to be acting well, so let’s change that.” Before Yuto could ask how, Yamada had already shoved him off the couch and was pushing him against the floor. “You’re supposed to be Taiyou, so you’re on bottom.”
Yuto raised an eyebrow, pushing the shirt off the older boy, who was now sitting on his lap with his knees on the floor against either side of his legs. “How do you know he’s really on bottom?”
Yamada opened his mouth to explain, then hesitated before settling on a “You know what, you don’t really want to know.”
Yuto shrugged it off, wrapping his arms around Yamada when he pulled himself up. “Ah~ you’re so warm...”
Yamada, however, returned the embrace with one arm around Yuto’s back, the other moving lower. His hand lightly brushed against the crotch of Yuto’s pants, before moving back up to the hem. Yamada slowly pressed against the cloth of Yuto’s pants and underwear, before pushing his hand in completely. His fingers gently kneading against Yuto’s skin, he smiled and said, “You’re warm, too.”
Yuto’s breath grew shakier as Yamada’s lips pressed against his collarbone, giving his chest light kisses as his mouth moved lower, lower, and Yamada began to do things with his hand, then a tongue flicked out, touching his nipple, and Yamada started to suck, a moan escaping from Yuto’s mouth, and...
Then a soft click sounded behind them, the door unlocking before Yamada-mama swung it open, declaring, “Okaeri!”
In shock, Yuto turned his head around and Yamada suddenly stopped (much to Yuto’s dismay), looking up.
“K-k-kaa-san!” Yamada stammered out, turning redder by the second. “T-t-tadaima!”
Yamada-mama pouted, crossing her arms. “I thought I told you not to do anything while I was gone!” She sighed, looking toward the ceiling. “Kami-sama...why could you not have made Ryosuke-chan a girl? I could be having cute little grandchildren right now!”
Yamada’s sister, on the other hand, stuck her head into the door, curious. “Kaa-chan, what are Nii-chan and Yuto-nii-chan doing?”
Yamada-mama’s eyes widened and she, not wanting to corrupt her daughter at her age, danced around the subject saying, “Ne! Let’s go get ice cream at the park!” She grabbed her daughter’s hand and closed the door behind them, leaving the couple alone.
Yuto coughed, “Ne, Yama-chan...I think we should go to your room now...”
Yamada nodded, pushing himself off the floor to stand. He then held a hand out to Yuto to help him up.
“Ah~ we just became more like those two, though...we just corrupted your sister without her realizing it,” Yuto commented while following Yamada to his room.
Pushing his door open, Yamada laughed.
