I've been vegan since January 1st (and yes, occasionally I'll crave a big juicy piece of lamb or slice of cheese), and I went on an awesome camping trip with my bio field lab last weekend. Saw lots of salamanders, found a dead mole, camped out in a 2-person tent with two guys I didn't know too well (now I do, I guess), and got inebriated in a mist-filled, moonlit meadow. It was awesome and just the break I needed from regular social interactions at the house.
Sometimes it's hard to get psyched about doing work, even if it's fun to learn. I need to start riding my bike everyday again.
