and this is my country that's doing this. i wonder if it's always been this way and only now does it become public, or are things getting worse?

I think that it's been like this for a while (imagine living throught the Spanish inquisition!), at least all around the world. In terms of the US? I can't decide what's worse - if it's always been like this, or if it's been increasing steadily. But yeah, it just makes one sick. Freedom for all my ass. I wonder how bad it's going to get before the rest of America wakes up and says "hey! Waitaminnit!"
