Second full rep Murph - it was AWESOME!

Did my second full rep Murph last night, which consists of (for those who won't know):

For time:
- run 1 mile
- 100 pull ups (beginner)
- 200 push ups
- 300 squats
- run 1 mile

My time was 54:40, ~4 min slower than my last full rep Murph. However if I add in the extra difficulty of not progressing push ups and the fact that I'm still recovering from a bum left leg (details later on that one), I'm really happy with that time.

My personal goal this time around was to do full push ups, not to progress even a single one. I nailed that goal!

The pull ups, push ups, and squats can get split into chunks if you want, so I did 20 rounds of 5 pull ups, 10 push ups, 15 squats. In my first full rep Murph, rounds 13-15 were agonizing, this time around it was round 9-12. Those were the rounds where my body was screaming at me. Rounds 13-20 were nothing after pushing through 9-12.

In fact, I was so pumped at having done the full push ups that while running the last mile, I doubled my speed for the last 1/2 mile, and even sprinted the last 200 m.

...an no, I did not puke! (came close, but didn't!)

Surprisingly enough, I'm not sore today. This is taking me by surprise. I pushed out a workout that lasted close to an hour (without breaks longer than 4 deep breaths) and I'm not feeling it the next day? I'm going to attribute it to being in better shape than I thought I was.

It's almost mind boggling to think that when I fist started CrossFit, at the end of September last year, I could not do even a single push up. I am insanely proud of myself for what I did last night.

Funny, I woke up this morning and said to myself "Ok, full push up full rep Murph done, time to start training for the next one." My ultimate goal is to do a full Murph - not progressing any of the exercises. I have everything nailed except the pull ups. I'm going to be working on a roadmap to get there. Though it may take a while to get to the point where I can push out 100 full pull ups as part of a workout, I have no doubt in my mind that I can, and will, eventually do it.

I'm riding such a high right now :)
