Best. Day. Ever.

Not really. It kind of sucks how things can ruin a day in just a few moments and/or hours.

The laydown:

I pull into the parking lot for work, blasting J-music and basking in the nice sunlight. Turn the car off, drop the keys on the passenger seat, get out, lock the door and close it. ... With my keys still on the passenger seat. A resounding "DAMMIT!" echoed throughout the parking lot. Yeah, I'm retarded.

There was not much to do since work was about to begin, so I leave it for after work. Work: My boss really must have had -something- up his tookus, for he showed no mercy for any and every little mistake. (He's a disgruntled 80 year old man, the last thing you want is said old man yelling at you.) The bright, beautiful, sunlit day turned into a dark and rainy one just as I got off work.

Car & Keys: There is a 'AAA' auto place that helps with these sorts of things right next to my work, but it closed at 5:30 while I got off at 6:00. I tried calling the 'Locksmith', and was put on hold for 50 minutes. Eventually, my friend came down from San Francisco and used his 'AAA' membership to bust into my car and retrieve the keys at around 9:00 pm.

Sorry if this sounds like a three year old crying about how he dropped his ice cream, it just helps relieve a wee bit of stress.
