A Long Time...
It has been awhile since I've written in this journal. Life has just gotten quite busy. With school, work, teaching, and mom, I seem to not have time to do much anymore. I found out that I will be finished with graduate school (for now) next June - sooner than I had anticipated. My mom is well, hanging in there, and happy - which makes me happy. Friends, I miss a lot, don't seem to have time to hang out with ANYONE - very sad. I am going to Köln in a month - looking forward to it. It will be nice to travel around Germany with Grace. She will get to finally see a little of my world. ;). We'll see how things go. If my mind serves me well, it is freakin' cold in Germany this time of year; guess I will have to break out the old coat, hat, and gloves.
I finally broke down and bought a laptop. Well, sort of bought a laptop. A friend gave me a great deal on one, so I couldn't pass it up. Now I feel like a total "bona fide professor" :).
All in all, life is good.
