American Idol Season 8 - Top 36 Group 2

Group 2 performed 2 days ago and result was out yesterday. Before the result was announced I was really hoping that Kris Allen will make it to the top 12. He performed quite well that night, he has a very good attitude, he is likable and most importantly, he is CUTE!! But I was quite worried before the result show because he is another contestant who didn't have much coverage during the audition and Hollywood week. He doesn't have a huge fan base as compare to some other contestants.
So I am really really glad that he was voted into top 12! Well done America!!!

I am happy with this result because they are indeed the best 3 performers during that night. Apart from this, I also hope that Matt Giraud gets a chance in the Wildcard week. He has a very soulful voice, just that he chooses a horrible song to sing this week, if not he should have a high chance to advance to top 12.
