So I have told some of you, not all, that my choir can be heard in several of this summer's movie trailers (Pirates 3, Spidey 3, Next). So happiness!!
Maybe if you listen REALLY hard, you'll hear me! Go ahead, try it! A good 35-40 times through should do the trick.

In unrelated news, I am frantically searching for a full-time job before the first loan check is due. I have been avoiding work at Barnes & Noble because of various unrelated issues with some of the staff, plus the fact that I am OVER working retail. Working at Windswept has opened my eyes to the freedom that is being able to wear whatever you want to wear, have lunch when you want to have lunch, pee when you want to pee (ok, I guess you can do that in retail too.) It's great. And I'm really doing a bunch of the same things, alphabetizing especially -- although instead of books, now I'm organizing songs. Still pretty cool, no?
Anyway the purpose of this entry was actually to share the happiness spread to me by my ipod this afternoon, set on "shuffle songs" on the way home from good ole' beverly hills.

I tell you, how much more pleasure can possibly exist in the world, than humor in the juxtaposition of songs that would otherwise never be heard IN THE SAME ROOM, much less back-to-back in a playlist? The Shuffle Gods of iPod even saw fit to give me a Tori Amos double feature.
