My first two days of school seemed decent. I think I expected something I wasnt going to get, but overall I am beginning to ease into high school.
In some ways I am starting to enjoy it, but not for the homework. I got homework on my first day and since I had practice after school I felt a little pushed for time, but I did it afterwards. It was math by the way and it also wasn't due untill tomorrow, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't puting stress on myself. I had to get my parents to sign a bunch of stuff and thats basically what I will say about that!
If you read the following...Then you are a completely rad person.
Here is a outline of my first two days of school...
First Day
1st period: PE Well being that this is in the morning...I know I wont enjoy it, but I guess that only means that I will be awake for all my other classes! OH JOY! Anyway tomorrow we have to take a swim test which will indicate what swim level you will be taking during the year. Thats right girls and boys...Our school has freshman swimming. Doesn't that just sound fine and dandy. In the morning too so I will have to walk around with damp hair. Whatever I am getting over it. The rest of the PE, doesn't bother me. I will be looking forward to this class!
3rd period: MATH I never liked math, but this class seems like it could be okay. The teacher is really nice. We sit in "team" groups where their are four people. Luckily I got stuck with people I don't mind sitting next to. I am actually sitting right next to Peter is an halarious kid. I could only hope you could experience his humor like I have. Anyway...We do team work while we are in class and will sometimes have "team" tests. Then we have our indivisual homework after school. It seems like I will be okay. So I have no worries about this one.
5th period: BLOCK I seriously am looking forward to a halarious year in this class. This is actually called English on my schedule but we have two classes with this teacher so everyone just calls it block. We have this guy teacher, who is so funny and is really a somewhat easy going guy. I know for sure I will be enjoying the past year with him. The only thing about this class is we have a bunch of stupid boys in our class. For you "guys" who are reading...this means nothing agaisnt you, because these freshmen guys at are school just seem like complete idiots. This is for only the guys that attend my high school. *cough* okay?
Second Day
2nd period: DRAWING I was worried about this class when I saw it on my schedule. I had put it for one of my alternatives in my elective picks thinking I wouldn't get it. Well guess what? I did obviously. People say I can draw, but I was worried that this class would be all these people that had amazing talents, and by chance from what I saw, they are. Not all of them are amazing but atleast they have drawing skills. I have limited skills in my opinion...but my friends say I draw well. You should probably believe them because I hate everything I do, but whatever. My point is I don't know if I am going to enjoy this class. The teacher is a bit odd and she just seems like an art fanatic. She acts a bit strange in my opinion...but I will have to go and do my best!
4th Period: BIOLOGY The first moment I walked into this class, I was like "Hey, this seems cool!" The atmosphere was great, and the people in their seemed really nice...including the teacher. I don't know everyone in that class except for a couple peolpe, but from who I talked to, they seemed willing to give me a chance. The teacher is cool and didnt give us a big lecture about what to expect in her, what materials we would need and what behavior we should have. She just handed us a paper...told us to get it signed and then we got our first experiment! It was cool. I can't wait untill we get more into Biology, because it seems like it will be a lot of fun!
6th period: BLOCK I basically already explained this. Today we got work in this class, but he told us we would finish it up next time. Actually we got lucky on that part, because he didn't have enough article packets to give to everyone so thats why we couldn't take it home. He told us it would usually be homework. Hey...he still is cool!
Well that was my whole entire two days! I have had volleyball after school also. We had to jump up and off of these dreaded boxes for one minute total. Then also we had to do five suicides also known as windsprints. Today the boxes we'rent so bad...I had major fun with volleyball today. I can't wait till our first game comes around!
Okay, I am going to go take a shower. When I get out I will microwave some of that leftover pizza for me and watch the Mariners (hopefully) win! GO MARINERS! Damn, that was a long entry. Sorry about that!
I love you people...You are so rad!
