Donuts
Arizona was exited for their 5th anniversary today. She prepared food, lit some candles, left a trail of rose petals on the floor heading towards the bedroom. It was perfect, really perfect. All she was waiting for is Calliope to come home.
She feels exited and somewhat nervous about what she's going to do. In her pocket she pulled out a small box. She was wondering what it would look like on Calliope. The sound of her cellphone pulled her out of her thoughts. She looked at the screen, it was a message from calliope. The message read:
sorry babe, i'm gonna be late
for our anniversary plans tonight
big trauma coming. Love you always!! XOXO

After reading the message her face fell from exited to sad. She blew out the candles, put the food in the fridge, and went straight to the bedroom. After laying on the bed for what seems like eternity she finally thought of a great way to celebrate their anniversary together and do her plan. She stood up and got herself dressed and went to the donut shop.

"I hope she likes my surprise," Arizona thought as she walk through the hospital doors a box of donuts in hand. She quickly goes to the nurse's station to ask for calliope, but a certain someone stopped her. "Mark! where's Calliope?,'" Arizona asked happily. " Hi Blondie!!, what have you got here?" mark said as he tried opening the box but quickly failed. "sorry mark but this is for calliope only. So tell me where she is or your not going to know what's in here." Arizona said smirking hoping that mark would give in. "she's at the attending's locker room." mark said giving up. She said thanks to mark and hurriedly went to the attending's locker room.
She immediately spotted callie and snuck up behind her. Callie was startled at the sudden contact. She turned around and looked who it was. "oh, hi, ari.. i;m sorry about tonight, it was.. they needed hands so.. i really wanted to...." Arizona cut her off before she starts rambling. "happy anniversary" arizona said. " happy anniversary too!," callie said kissing her. "what are you doing here?, i was about to come over" callie asked curiously. "uhm... well.. you see.. i just really wanted to see you and celebrate our anniversary together so.... i came here" arizona said shyly and gave callie the box of donuts. "what's this?" callie asked opening the box. Callie just stood there in awe as she read the words "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" in donut form.
When she closed the box she noticed that arizona was kneeling on one knee and holding a small box with the most beautiful engagement ring inside it. She looked at arizona and the ring and back at arizona and said "YES!!" callie squeled in delight. Arizona took the ring out and placed it on callie's finger and kissed her passionately. After the kiss her forehead is pressed against callie's. They both whispered "I LOVE YOU" and kissed deeply.
