its been ages
so I saw that Ingrid had updated her lj and it reminded me that I was going to do that sometime too! Though I can't really remember what I was going to say! Damn!
Well,
Carey and I went away on the weekend for our four year anniversary to Point Lonsdale/Queenscliff and stayed at a B&B in Point Lonsdale. It was really nice and the weather was lovely, especially on Saturday. Friday night we had dinner at the Vue Grande Hotel which was really nice, but very expensive :)
I suppose not a lot has been happening to me lately, I have a job at Spotlight in South Melbourne if you didn't know, but I'm kind of getting over it, the job itself isn't really that bad, its more my manager and the travel time.
Also if you didn't know, I've moved to Preston with my family, its alright. The house is much better, but I have a much smaller room (though it does have built in robes). I still wish I lived in North Fitzroy.
Lately I have been very much into listening to Patrick Wolf, he is awesome.
I also love picnicface. Oh yes. Awesomeness.
Nearly 2 years ago (I think, im not really sure though), Carey and I bought the Stargate sg1 boxset, and we are nearly done watching it all! 10 seasons of awesome nerd-ness. We only have a few episodes of season 10 left, then we just have to watch the 2 movies, Ark of Truth and Continuum and we will be done. Cool but sad because I love that show. Stargate Atlantis is also ending after Season 5, so only 1.5 seasons left of that to watch too. Don't own the dvds yet though.
Nick told me NiN is coming to Australia for a festival, I hope they announce sideshows, I don't really want to go to the festival, only to see NiN. I have been getting back into them so much lately, I really do want to see them live again!
Oh I bought an ipod when my mp3 player died. Fail.
Right now im trying to decide if I should spend 121 dollars on eyeshadows or not. They are very cool, and its 12 of them, they are waterbased and last AGES...I'm still not sure though, I think I need to save more money first and obviously pay Carey back the money I owe him. So I guess thats a no then!
