This summer, it is a fake tan all the way. Or just no tan at all. Probably the latter.
My dad's dermatologist found a bunch of spots on his face that aren't cancerous YET, I don't think, but can very easily turn cancerous so he has to put on this medicine that irritates his face something awful... he's covered in really painful-looking red blotches. Garrett and I have my dad's really fair skin. In thirty years or so, if I don't take precautions, that will be me. It's dangerous; you don't screw around with skin cancer.
I don't tan anyway. It's just an impossibility for me, so why ruin my skin trying? I'm albino-pale and I may as well learn to accept it instead of burning myself trying to change it. I will be a sunscreen freak this summer. I am going to experiment with really, really light sunless tanners, but nothing dark, just to improve my skin tone a bit.
Skin cancer, you're going down.
