I've decided to take a leap and
enter the CAPIC photography/illustration contest. I've never entered my artwork in something like this and it's a good way to get yourself out there and it's only for students, so I won't be up against industry professionals. A few others in my class have entered and usually between our three years in the IDEA program a few of us are always chosen for the final 30. It's worth a shot, only thing is that I have to pay $20 per submission, which isn't too bad, but it means I can only afford to submit 2/3 pieces. If I do win or place then the university will reimburse me for my entry fee.
These are last years winners and I think I may have a shot at something this year.
