Title: Potpourri (2/?)
Pairing(s): DooWoon, (later JunWoon, DongSeob)
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 2,000+
Summary: He never said, “no,” and because he never said, “no,” they never stopped. Because you never say “no” to hyung.

Doojoon stretched his hand for the little slice of kiwi Dongwoon cut, “It’s about time one of you found out.”

“I’ve always known.”

“Really, now?”

“Yes.”

“I find that easy to believe.”

“This is all you have to say?”

“What more do you want me to say?”

(Au café…)

“I know, Woonie.”

The maknae’s attention was snatched from his little tub of fudge. Yoseob looked back, equally serious.

“Know… what, hyung?” he asked, just to be sure that they were talking about the same “know.”

“Don’t belittle me, Dongwoon. I know. You and Doojoon. I know about it. I’ve been knowing about it, about you two.”

Dongwoon became a little boy.

“I never… said anything about it, until I started to see you change. And you’re changing, Woon, and it’s because of him. Isn’t it?”

Dongwoon’s lashes dropped as his eyes fell onto his block of fudge. It looked like a brick of mud presently.

Yoseob’s hand found Dongwoon’s under the seat.

“You don’t deserve that, Dongwoon. You know that-you don’t deserve to be tossed around like that.”

Dongwoon’s eyes dropped to his brick of mud. Hyung was saying what his heart was saying.

He wasn’t in the mood for a sweet suddenly.

(Later that night…)

Doojoon was about to depart for more taping. He ventured to where Dongwoon rested to say a goodbye…

“Hey. I’m gonna be gone tomorrow, too, for a couple days. I won’t be back till Friday.”

“Okay,” and Dongwoon turned back over. Doojoon’s orbs looked over the younger resting in bed. He occupied a spot near and snug to Dongwoon, as a father would comfort his frightened son after he’d had a nightmare. He set a hand to his back.

“Hey-”

Dongwoon shrugged until the hand flopped onto the bed. Doojoon tightened his lips.

“What’s the matter, Woon? What’s wrong?”

“…I will tell you what’s wrong. Yeah,” Dongwoon rose and rose until he fully sat upright on the bed, staring Doojoon point blank in his eyes, “I’ll tell you what’s wrong hyung. This. This is what’s wrong.”

Doojoon rolled his eyes, but in sort of an understanding way. He understood Woon’s red frustration entirely, yes, for how else should he feel about the man whom held his heart having another lover? Woonie was feeling abandoned by Doojoon… it was not the same. But to Doojoon, you see, Woonie didn’t understand. Not completely...

“You don’t understand.”

“Then make me,” said Dongwoon, almost pleadingly, “make me…”

The elder’s fingers slid between the forked spaces between Dongwoon’s… He watched them connect, and he smiled when Dongwoon detectably brought his hand closer… and when the latter squeezed them. Woonie’s mouth straightened. Doojoon’s peered into the brown ocean’s before him; he parted his lips to speak.

“You know who you are to me,” Doojoon muttered.

“…………No I don’t.” Not anymore.

Doojoon pouted playfully, “Oh you don’t?”

Dongwoon shook his head. Doojoon smiled forgivingly. He squeezed their hands.

“Dongwoon, you’re the first person I’ve ever felt anything for. You’re the first person I’ve ever felt such a strong connection with. And I knew that I wanted to be with you since the day we met. From day one I wanted to take care of you. I wanted you always by me, so that I could keep an eye on you and make sure you were okay and comfortable… Remember?”

“Yeah,” Dongwoon answered lowly, his lips bent in a small, sweet smile. Doojoon always hovered close by, making sure the youngest needed for nothing.

“And I shared myself with you. I’d never given myself to anyone before you. You were my first, too, when we made love.”

True, true. The boy recalled that night more often than he would admit...

“I’m just saying, Woon, no matter who comes, you’re always going to be first to me. No one else can take that away from you; no one else can and ever will replace you. You’re always going to hold that place in my heart, and you’re always going to have a piece of me. I could not even begin to love another person the way I love you. You’re different, Woon. You know you are. You’re my baby, and you’re always gonna be my baby, no matter what happens. Understand?”

……Dongwoon almost choked when he tried to take a breath. He did not realize the bump lodged between the roof of his mouth and throat. He nodded quietly in agreement, lowering his head.

“I love you.”

“I love you, too, hyung…”

The elder dropped his eyelashes, looking at the boy's lips, “Now can I have a kiss before I go? I won’t see you till Friday…”

Dongwoon smiled internally, and a little bit of that wiggled onto his lips. He pursed them, and Doojoon leaned closer…

“Dongwoo-”

Yoseob had walked in, and he was a few seconds early, for he would have walked in on the couple’s parting kiss. But instead, the pair’s lips were pursed and only an inch away. Their eyes whipped to the door, to the intruding male. Yoseob’s eyes stuck to Dongwoon’s. The latter found disappointment in his hyung’s pupils. Flat-out disappointment. The boy had to look somewhere else…

“Your cab’s here, Doojoon,” Yoseob deadpanned.

“Okay,” Doojoon spat, then turned to face Dongwoon once again, “Wellll, this is it. I gotta run… I’ll see you Friday.”

“See you…” Woonie replied lightly.

Doojoon pecked the maknae’s lips in parting, left the bed and left for the door. His eyes cut deeply into the brown meat of Yoseob’s, but Yoseob’s set had done its deal of damage on the elder, too.

Yoseob stayed put under the doorway until he heard Doojoon exit the dorm. When the door closed, he entered the space and shut the door behind him.

“Dongwoon. Did you not take anything I told you earlier!?”

“I-I did, but, hyung explained everything to me.”

Yoseob crossed his arms. “Oh he did, did he? Okay, entertain me. What lies did he feed you this time around?”

“They weren’t lies, hyung,” Dongwoon boldly defended, “I’m Doojoon’s first, so he’ll always love me, no matter who he loves.”

“So that’s all he had to say to keep you reeled in.”

“He said he loves me,” Dongwoon repeated robotically.

………Yoseob shook his head at those stupid, innocuous orbs.

He just shook his head.

yeah yeah I lied about the junwoon yeah but whatevuh I do what I want. ohhh this is disappoint.
