Strange anniversary

On the Tues before Thanksgiving last year, at almost exactly this time, I was was in the emergency room corridor hearing a discussion between doctors that I was not supposed to be hearing. They were awaiting the results of x-rays, but seriously thought my (then) husband had broken his neck and very well might be paralyzed, at least on one side.

if you are a jinx/bad luck charm, then why did he walk out 4.5 hrs later? I call shenanigans! sometimes things are fate, other times there is just such a thing as a fucked up coincidence. I vote for fucked up coincidence!!

Such things happen, and when they do they sometimes involve good people. I call it chance. Others call it fate or luck. But we all have a tendency to notice the few unpleasant events to the exclusion of all the good days in between. You are a lot of things… sweet, caring, beautiful, sexy, fun… what you are not is a jinx or bad luck!
