That was uber fun. Just got back from sha sha shopping with Liam. And since it's Christmas time he predicted that we were bound to run into people we know and be subjected to awkward conversations. So we kept score. I feel that I officially won, but he claims differently.
First I was stopped by relatives I hardly know. And they thought he was my boyfriend and proceeded to ask if he was coming to our Christmas eve party. So that was nice. My face went a jolly shade of red.
Second thing was running into Vanessa, who works at the Bay. That chick wears a lot of mascara. And it was awkward because Jaclyn phoned me at the same time and I was trying to hold 3 conversations at once without seeming rude. Think I succeeded?
Third was this woman, while standing in line behind us to pay, commented on the slippers I was buying. Random people talking to you about your purchaces? awkward.
Fourth was this chick working at American Eagle. She was one of those 'please, let me help you!!' people. guh. would not leave me alone. Even though we were in the mens' section of the store. I was like uh, do I look like i'm going to buy shit here?
So I was up four. and Liam had successfully diverted bumping into anyone he knows. and his ex girlfriend works at some store at the mall, so he made us avoid an entire chunk of the building just so we wouldn't have to walk past it. LOL so we ended up going in huge ass circles just to get to places. But he still claims he won because the annoying helper chick from AE made him take his jacket off so she could hold a shirt up to him to see if it would fit. He titled this moment the scenario of "uncomfortable disrobement" and claims that it's worth at least 5 awkward encounters.
I disagree.
