Various Thoughts

Last night I went to Jessica and Erin's senior/junior recital. Bravo. They have such pretty voices. I just feel bad that it was the same night that the Remember The Titans coach came to town. Because of the other event the girls had a small showing at their recital. They sang in French, sang some Broadway tunes, and then some songs from movies. It was my kind of music!
In a busy life I'm glad I have friends who make me stop and look at a raining sky. God's creation is so amazing and it was a glorious night last night.
I've been searching for things to do in the Dayton area and I've come up with some exciting things (at least I think they're exciting).

-Woodland Cemetery & Arboretum and visit the graves of the Wright Brothers
-Dayton Art Institute (That's for Tracey, but I would enjoy seeing the Art too)
-Dayton Aviation Heritage National Park (I like parks)
-SunWatch Indian Village
-Carillon Historical Park
-National Aviation Hall of Fame
-United States Air Force Museum
-Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center (I want to see some plays here!)
-Victoria Theatre
-Carriage Hill MetroPark (Hiking, fishing, picnicking, cross-country skiing and group camping)
-RiverScape MetroPark Dayton (this park has an ice rink during the winter)
-Wegerzyn Gardens Metropark (this has rose, federal, English and Victorian gardens).
-National City Second Street Public Market Dayton (I love flea markets!)
-Webster Street Market
-The Neon Movies (Located in Oregon District, specializes in foreign, independent and classic films. It's the only Cinema theater in the U. S.).
-Tom Eby Farm (a corn maze)
-Lazer Quest (Anyone up for Lazer Tag?)
-Mayhem & Mystery Dinner Theatre
-The Wright's Cycle Company (Where the Wright Brothers made bikes)
-Yellow Springs (laid back college town, shop for things like Tibetan jewelry, local pottery, original works of art, hemp sandals, organic cotton tongs and "cruelty free" yoga pants )
-Hopewell Culture National Historic Park

Oh my, so much to do! I'm so excited!
