Joyeux noël mes aimes!

I've been to a lot of Christmas festivities lately. Dr. Wood's house was fun. His wife made us chili and cornbread and lots of goodies. Dr. Mett's St. Nicholas Eve party was amazing! He goes all out. He had a melodrama where he played St. Nick, and he put candy in our shoes. It was nice.
Tonight we went Christmas caroling in French. It was quite an experience. Let's just say that we sounded a lot better IN class then we did actually singing, but it was fun just the same. Lot's to do this week. I'm doing a presentation for my LOTR class. My group is doing one on Tolkien's language so I get to talk about Dwarvish, oh boy!
Had too many sweets today. It seemed that everwhere I went people were handing me food. I didn't want to be in polite because they went to great lengths to buy the food for me to eat. And it was good food. We had little chocolate french cookies in French class for instance... and hot chocolate... and the list goes on... my tummy is very full tonight.
I've been getting up and doing TAEBO very regularly this semester, but I'm starting to think it's days are numbered. I need my sleep in this coming week and a half... Taebo might need to hold off for awhile.
Christy and I have Christmas lights and a tiny Christmas tree in our room which makes me happy.
I'm making an Excell sheet and putting all the things I have to do within the next week on it. Mapping it out is the only way I won't forget a meeting.
My defense for my thesis is going to be the first week in February. Hooray for that! I'm handing my paper into dear Dr. Daigle on Thursday. Did I say I want to be just like her when I grow up?
That is all for now friends.
Bonne nuit
