Does Anyone Know A Mechanic?
Well this weekend has had it's ups and downs. On Friday I found out that I am only a sub in the switchboard again this year (that's a down). Work out at Southern Exposure that night was rather slow but I spent the night at home while my dad worked on my car which was a plus! I also found out that I know longer had to work on Saturday which was good. The Drive-In on Saturday night was fun. I think I liked National Treasure better the second time around. The downside is that the tailgate on my jeep is now jammed, it won't close and I don't have the money to fix it. I hate calling home and telling my parents about it. They won't be happy, especially because it happened last year as well! So if you know someone mechanically inclined that want's to look at it, please let me know. I'm sure my dad could fix it as well, but it will be a few weeks before I see him again. . . and that's when my parents want to borrow the jeep for the weekend to go on a trip... it needs to be fixed before then...
Today I worked, but it was a different sort of event (aka not a wedding, which I'm rather sick off). I really like the people I work with out there, I'm excited to see what God might do through these winter months.
I also came to the conclusion today that, although I was disappointed with not being on staff this year in the Switchboard, it may be for the best. I've been so stressed lately about all I have to get done, and now I have more time to do it.
