Hmm...I just had a very direct conversation about sex with my dad without him admitting that it was about sex.
"We never talk about your boy relationships but I'm not naive, I know that teenagers do stuff. I won't think of you any less if you did anything, but I just don't want you to get hurt. Save it for the right time. You have a reputation and a lot going for you now, I don't want you to lose that."
He basically told me without flat out saying it that he thinks I am planning on having sex with someone and that he doesn't want me to make a a decision I might regret. I don't know how he would infer that.
How random is that, it was so weird.
I'm not quite sure what to think about that.
"I'd rather you be mad at me now then mad at yourself later."
Neither of those could be true.
