Thoughts: Kadabra's so precious. A little thick-headed and easy to manipulate, but Rin honestly believes he's honorable at heart, and really does hope his fortunes turn so he can have a steady supply of coins to lose. She definitely looks forward to seeing him again. But even terrible gamblers aren't to be trusted.

Thoughts: Edmond's flooding compassion mirrored the intimacy between husbands and wives instead of the suitable remoteness between strangers. It sounded fake to Rin, put her on edge, and his pet names for her ("O fair daughter of love") furthered her mistrust. But he's very willing to do as she asks, which is a great positive. And a possibility for entertainment. In short, Edmond's one to be wary of, but he seems knowledgeable, and is generally quite tolerable. If a little too eager.
