Well, I assume that, they are both Pokemon, but as you can see, Ansa is a spider, and that... [He bites his lip, tilting his head to the side] Well, he kind of looks like a lizard person, don't you think?
And if you want, I could ask his name for you, if that is something that you would be okay with.

Ack-- Oh, you can communicate with these creatures as well..? Then, yes, that would be quite helpful. And perhaps you could tell him-- gck-- that my horns are quite sensitive, while you're at it.

[He chokes as the Machop grabs Equius's horn, slapping a hand over his mouth.] Oh god, yeah, I'll just- [Hands go up to his temples, and his eyes glows as he reaches out mentally to the rambunctious Pokemon]
Hey, I really, don't mean to be rude or anything, but, um, our horns, they're not really meant to be grabbed, like that, and I think that, both Equius and I, would appreciate if you let go. Also, Equius would like to know what name it is that you go by, among other Pokemon.

[Equius quirks a brow at the Machop's chirping before glancing back at Tavros, looking hopeful.]

[His hands drop, and he smiles brightly at Equius, even if there's a bit of a blush on his face] His name is Cappy, and, I think that he was trying to, uhh, lick your horns... [Yep, blushing pretty good now] So, it's a good thing we stopped him, when we did. Otherwise, things would have gotten, uhh, really awkward.

Dave says that, Sollux and Karkat are here. And also his sister. But that's all that I know of so far. I haven't actually, seen or heard from them yet.
Um, I'm sitting just outside, Twinleaf Town, if you want to, you know, come join me? [He looks up, chewing on his lip uncertainly] Not that, I'm saying you're lonely, or anything, but, adventuring is more fun when you're with friends, and since we're both here...

Even with Ansa, I'm kind of alone too. [Smiles, shrugging one shoulder] I just thought that, this way, we'd both have someone around. I won't go anywhere, you'll be able to see me from the road.

[He gives a nervous smile and a nod, standing up with Cappy clinging happily to his side.] Alright. I'll be there shortly, then.
[There's already a bead of sweat rolling down his temple as he reaches the bull-horned troll, broken teeth resting over his lip. He's not sure what to say; it's been a while, and they've never really had a friendly conversation at all.]
Uh... hello, Tavros. [He's standing at least two feet away, hands balled into shaky fists.]
