So, with last week's episode, I got to thinking about how the sense of distance seems to work in Legend of the Seeker.
I was having some trouble with the fact that Zedd was gone for quite a long time (I would estimate it at more than just a couple of days - perhaps a few weeks considering he wasn't in one full episode), yet the box he "hides" ends up conveniently an hour or two away from Richard & Kahlan, the People's Palace, Jennsen's house, and numerous other important plot points. In Conversion, I was ok with Rahl transporting from the Palace to where Wizard Giller was working because that kind of distance was covered magically, but this was just a little on the ridiculous side for me. Considering how long he'd been gone, wouldn't the box have ended up much, much further away from everyone and everything?
What are your thoughts? D'Hara seems to be getting smaller by the day, and as much as I've jumped from "skeptical fan" to "really liking the show," this is definitely throwing off my suspension of disbelief.
