Allison Mack Accepts Card from CDRF
Yesterday (February 6, 2011) members of the Legendary Women Inc board traveled to New York city to see Allison Mack in her new play, Apple Cove, and to present her with the letters fans wrote as well as a card from the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation detailing how much money was donated in honor of Chloe Sullivan and Allison Mack.
For those who missed the announcement on the Across the Airwaves podcast, we raised $1,525 (more than 1.5 times are goal). 37 people contributed.
Ms. Mack was delighted with the card and said how "amazing" we all are for raising the money. She hopes we continue to do good work and thanked us for both the card and the letters.
When we asked if we could take pictures so that all those who donated could see her with the card she was happy to comply.
We also gave Allison and co-star Kathy Searle apples in honor of Apple Cove
