crocheted beads - not sure what the hype was all about, but I've done that, too.
Okay, so I had to find out what the hype was all about the crocheted beads last year. Yeeeah, I know, the bandwagon's long gone, I know, I know. But it is about ME and what strikes MY fancy at the moment, and the time for this project came now.
And I must admit that it almost progressed into the UFO box, since it made mne rather angry at times. Well, almost always. The thing is, I kinda don't really like those works of art that are made up of teeny bits andpieces sewn together at a later juncture instead of producing them as a continuous object. So this sequence of indivdual, TEENY beads wrapped in minuscule stitches made me rather pissed. The size also aggravated me (got new goggles, eyesight not fully accustomed to it yet), and my hands still hurt. But now I can finally say that I've been there, done that.
And I'm propbably not doing that again. Probably. (we'll see how bored I can become.)
