the lions win the stanley cup
well the lions won..which was good...but i didn't pick them to win.
so we are doing this whole betting thing on the nfl/ncca football thing. i actually did some reading/investigating and wasted a few hours of my life on my picks. basically, i came in last place. this upcoming week i will be flipping a coin for every game. it is impossible for me to do any worse than i started.
packed up the cottage this weekend and hlped out the parents. it was a very exciting/sad time. i love the cottage how it is, but it will be great to see it all finished. i can't wait to drive up there in the winter and enjoy the peace and quiet. we packed up a lot of trash and moved it to the sun room. not much from the old cottage is being moved into the new one.
came home today and played halo with matt for a few hours (much needed). talked with amy for a bit (still not used to the time change). went to brando's for the lions game, drank a few beers, came home and discovered the parentals bought dinner. mmm leftovers.
hmm now what? start crossing the days off my calendar to get to friday.
i can't believe mizzi picked miami, he is permitted to rub our faces in shit.
