Blew up
Work absolutely exploded today. But at 6:30 I set my away message and logged off, and sometime later I turned off the work phone and stowed it in a bag. As I am fond of reminding people, the work phone is my tool, not the other way around.
Mostly packed. Anniversary gifts are all, for the first time ever, wrapped and ready to go (normally I'm raiding the local dollar tree for wrapping stuff the day before our anniversary). Helps that I had a plan for how I wanted to wrap certain things inside other things. And the collection of used amazon gift bags in the garage helped tremendously with the oddly shaped things.
List is made for the morning of stuff to take care of before we leave. Cats are annoyed that the luggage came out, and semi-clingy as a result. But I'm ready to get the heck out of here for the next several nights.
