wow, this weekends was AMAZING!!!! Im very glad i decided to go camping with my family. I forgot how relaxing it was. Whie Island/ Fort McCrae is possibly the most beautiful place in Pensacola, I forgot how beautiful it was. It makes me realize that we are greatful to be able to go to a place like that , when most people have to travel several hundreds of miles to see something so beautiful, and for us it is a 10 minute boat ride.
Well the weekend started off, when we got to the island. April didnt want to set up tents or anything but at the same time she didnt want to have to drive the jet ski, so she kidnapped me and we went for a very long jet ski ride, so that when we came back everything was set!! haha..
The rest of the day was kind of a blur of random things. then the sunuset!! yay, i love it when the sunsets and the fire starts burning. You can see the starts so easily, they are 10 times brighter then here, which i loved. In fact , i didnt even end up sleeping n the tent. under the stars is much better.
Sunday was a blur of fishing, music, dancing, etc. then the fire again! yay!!!
in all, this weekend was exactly what i needed, it was my get away, my island of retreat. Thank you island.
And then i came home, back to reality, back to my phone bill in the mail.... damn.
