Just when you thought the adventure has ended.... it hasn't!

So after our Jakarta-Jogjakarta-Bali adventure, we still had one last adventure left -- Singapore!

Since there are no direct flights from Bali to Manila, we had to take a connecting flight to Singapore and spend around 4 hours in the country.

We arrived Singapore at 8:30 pm and our flight wasn't due till 12:40 am. We were quite hungry, so we went to the city to have dinner! Four hours in the airport was corny, plus we had to meet Sub, our friend, and I wanted to see ION. The last time I went to Singapore, ION was under construction.

If there was one photo that would describe our Amazing Race Singapore, it would have been this:

A blur! lol.

Being the strategists that we were, time was of the essence. Our time inside the airport was record breaking. From walking out the plane, to immigration to customs, it took us around 8 minutes to finish the whole process and ride a taxi!

We were dropped off in ION, because I wanted to see how the Orchard Road MRT was.

And it was humongous. I wonder how much a placement at the facade would cost though?

And then we had to do the mandatory Lucky Plaza shot, to commemorate our kababayans in Rasa.

After doing some groceries, we were hungry. I have been having my Xiao Long Bao craving for months, and since there was Din Tai Fung in Singapore, we had to go there and eat gazillions of Xiao Long Baos!

I can't wait for my trip to Hong Kong next month! That would be a food fest once again!

as expected, the xiao long baos were amazing. I savored every bite of it. we ordered three different kinds of xlbs but we finished them all in about 30 minutes!

XLBs! Yum!!!!! It's so soupy, plus the black vinegar makes it so good!

After dinner, we had a couple of erdingers and then headed to the airport to finish the amazing race.

I was surprised that Singapore has changed a lot in a span of two years. The last time I went there was 2008, and since then, there's a whole new Marina Bay, and four new mall along Orchard.. And that's just two years. I wonder how different Singapore would be in the next 5 years???

So that ended our Jakarta-Jogjakarta-Bali-Singapore adventure in three full days. It was tiring, but it was way fun. And I'd actually do something similar again!

Until the next adventure... which is this weekend! I can't wait!
