I'm basing these fanon facts on three principals:
A) CHANGE. Repo is an end that Richard helped bring about-so Richard (and to a lesser extent
marriedtomurder's world is in a constant state of FLUX. Meaning that things are ALWAYS going on and changing.
B) ODDITIES: ....Ladies and gentlemen, the i-pacemaker, i-defibilator and i-dialysis machine
available now from APPLE 2027-right until GeneCo buys them out.
C) Color. What I want is subdued with shocking color being used to illustrate changes. I'm thinking-what if Repo and the look of Invasion of the Bodysnatchers 07 (beautifully shot cinematopraphy) collided?
That's what I'm going for.
Imput? (looks in all directions)

I'd love to hear from you!
20. Middle Child of Capt. Richard Blake and Stephanie William-Blake. Stephanie's family has made their money in wine-which means that until Richard's bastard older brother gambled away the family fortune they had quite a thriving business in NAPA valley.
19. He is decidedly All-American. It's disgusting. He played football (badly, ironically) lost his virginity at 16 in the back of a vintage restored ford automobile.
He was too good.
Consequently he gained a rather distressing world view. If he simply was himself-charming, charasmatic, pleasant-he could coast through life wtihout being very affected. So far, it's worked.
18. He got into Stanford and opted for Enlisting in the Military. His father and mother had a fit.
17. ...There's a family curse about a grandparent on one side or another (might have been a great grandparent) who was a world-wide language expert went to war.
Did they send him to cryptology? Did they make him a translator? No. They made him a cook.
Consequently, Richard with perfect vision, great math scores, and a burning desire to fly got made a combat medic. The first sign that his philosophy of 'be yourself and you'll do fine' was going south.
16. When the Plague hit, the Navy offered him a big bonus if he re-enlisted as a doctor along with paying for his medical training. He agreed-simply for the money.
15. He is an Emergency Medicine Specialist. Which means he's a glorified combat medic. After six years of medical school and two as an intern (with one death-but you can't prove a thing.) Of course right before the Navy could offer him a position the CDC put out a general Emergency Response needed for physicians and he signed up.
14. He entered the world of politics and proposed on the same day. Politics came in the sudden (and unexpected) death of the CDC director. He was fourth on the list and accepted-primarily because it was thought that his Naval contacts would foster cooperation between the agencies.
They didn't.
And his appointment is/was one of the big reasons why the government was behind on the NOS plague.
He proposed to his wife
marriedtomurder that day. They met through a mutual family friend (he coming from old if slightly abused money, she coming from old East Coast Money). It was sudden but slightly expected because the two had been dating for the better part of a year.
13. He has an intense distaste for anything "old world" and "old money" that he's slowly getting over thanks to his wife, Rotti, and a few other people. Charlotte has hassled him about this several times, reminding him how he used to get into arguments with her parents and scoff ad their "traditional" ways.
12. He is a democrat, but thinking of changing his party affiliation.
11. He has four children. He has no idea how they got four children (naturally no less!) but the ratio of two-boys to two-girls pleases him. While at home (before Caroline Laurel died) he was Charlotte's fifth child, challenging his kids to guitar-hero sessions and buying them presents.
10. Caroline Laurel was playing baseball when she had what amounted to a heart attack.
He left work early-practically running over three people to get to the hospital.
She passed away two months later after intense therapy, chemo, and general medical treatement.
He held her hand through the entire process.
It nearly killed him. That was the first time he ever showed much of an angry streak and the first (and last) time he abused his wife. (striking her) he apologized to her at the funeral.
09. As a personal promise to himself, he now takes Tae-Kwon-Do. He's a black belt-first degree and he tends to be a little obsessive about it. He also tends to excercise to loud rock/indie music which probably accounts for why he's loosing his hearing in both ears.
08. His daughter Maggie was diagnosed with NOS just after he took office. He makes it a point to spend some time out of every day with her although he despises her doctors and has most of the hospital terrified of him.
07. His wife maintains their residence in California and despite intensely loving each other-he thinks she's gone crazy. She probably has (not letting your kids out is a sign of this) but so far they're at an impasse.
06. After running for Senate and winning, the VP put him on the COMMITTEE FOR EXAMINATION AND ELIMINATION OF THE PLAGUE. Senator Frazer nominated him for chairman and technically-any bill that passes has to go through his eyes first.
05. The only people he honestly cares about at this point are Maggie and possibly Senator Frazer. He has nothing but contempt for the rest of the senate and the legislative branch. If they'd just gotten their act together when NOS emerged they wouldn't be in this mess and Caroline Laurel wouldn't be dead.
04. He is definately intrigued by Rotti Largo's idea and intends to push it through.
03. The picture of the actual vote is historical. Largo on the Senate Floor, Maggie Blake in Richard's Arms and the entire congress cheering-the first unanimous vote in US history.
02. Six days after that, the first repo man will be released from jail and America will have to face up to it's consequences.
[LOCKED FROM RICHARD, BUT KNOWN TO EVERYONE IN MOVIE CANON]
01. Richard Blake will be assassinated by one of his own bodyguards. Lacking someone to kill in reprisal, one of the relatives of one of the first repo-victims will slit his throat.
