i wanna read good news but nothing good is happenin
This past weekend was A LOT of fun. My parents were both in New York for some art show, which left me and Maya and Zoe alone in the house. Maya is the girl whose 19 who types work documents for my dad and organizes his office haha. Anyway, she goes to Washington University which is like 5 seconds away from my house, so I spent a lot of time at the dorms and let me tell you.. I am SO ready to go away. I'm ready to pack up and leave and be on my own making my own decisions, telling myself when I need to do things and how they should be done. Guess I'll just have to wait 2 more years. Psh. Went to my first college party on Saturday night, had a good time, forgot about a lot of things for a couple hours. Sunday I went to some Oscar party in her dorm and they had really good cheesecake and champagne and what not. However, yesterday my parents came home and it was back to reality. I was slapped in the face with an 82 on a Chem test and an 84 on an English essay (which I'm going to rewrite so it doesn't matter). But still, they're still signs that I need to start stepping it up.
Half of my face is numb right now and not gonna lie, it's kinda cool. Getting the cavity filled and learning that I have another one, was not however. I don't get it cuz i BARELY eat candy and if I do it's not like really sugary candy, it's usually chocolate. Hmm.. So that wasn't too much, but I treated myself to a Maggie Moo's cookies & cream shake afterwards.. worth the pain.
I think that Friday night I'm gonna hang out with Anna/Margaret and some of their guy friends from Chaminade and Priory (catholic boys schools).. should be a good time. I might see what Annie's up to since I haven't hung out with her in forever.
Last night at like 10, I shut off every light in my room/bathroom and lit like 5 candles and took a bubble bath. I've never done it before (with all the candles and good smelling soap and what not) and OMG it was amazing. I stayed in there until like 11 just thinking about EVERYTHING. Then the water started getting cold so I got out and went to bed. I think I might repeat that tonight.. annnd every night until I get sick of it. Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls is amazing.
