...Audrey Giorgi
Ok, so first off, does anybody else really just enjoy livejourna's Christmas banner on the home page? It makes me happy a little bit.
I'm on break!! My first quarter of college is officially vanquished!! (everyone's been using that to describe it lately, so I thought I'd follow the crowd) I'm pretty darn excited. It's nice not having any homework whatsoever over break, and knowing that I just got done with finals and everything and when I get back to school it will be an all new quarter. I'm pretty happy. And I think I did pretty well in my classes. I'm expecting between a 3.0 and 3.5 altogether, and I'm pretty darn happy with that. Let's see if it actually happens. I think I did really well on my history final though, so that's good. Especially considering the bulk of my studying was done a few hours before the actual test.
So now I'm home and doing well. My mom's really in a game mood and is willing to play lots of games with me, so that's exciting! And she's really happy and excited to have us home, so she's planning all these family activities and baking all these cookies and stuff, so it's really nice and relaxing. It's a good environment...for now. But stay tuned because who knows when it'll go up in flames with both my mom and I in the same house for two weeks. So if anyone wants to come on up and play some games, eat some cookies, and go in the ol' hot tub, have at it. We're more than willing.
While I'm REALLY excited to be home with family and to see my friends, I do think I'm going to miss school by the end of these two weeks. I have friends over there now, and I'm going to miss them, and all my stuff is there! So we'll see how that goes. However, I am NOT excited to go back for the reason that I'm getting a new roommate, and I'm not looking forward to have to re-get to know a whole new roommate. The Colleen situation didn't work out (AGAIN) because housing are morons, so now Belinda Song will be my new roommate. She seems like she'll be really nice, but I don't think we'll have a ton in common. Oh well, we'll see. There's one possible solution still to get Colleen in my room, but it's not for sure, and I have a feeling it won't work out, so that's that.
I think that's about it. Last night Cory and I frosted sugar cookies with Jake, and it was adorable. He's pretty much the cutest little boy EVER. And the new one, Luc, is coming in January, so that's pretty soon too. Yay for nephews!! So, everyone, give me a call, cuz I wanna see all of you!
P.S. - Only 8 days till Christmas!!
