It was about February my freshman year that I really got into the swing of things and started loving it. I remember I didn't want to leave home at Christmas break, but by spring break I was ready to go back. And I'm less social, more reclusive than you are. So I'm betting it'll happen quicker for you.
I'll try to come visit after Mom's visit sometime. I figure next weekend we'll see each other, the weekend after mom is visiting and I'll see you, and pretty soon after that is Thanksgiving.
I wish there was something I could say to make this easier so that you aren't bored or lonely. But at the same time this is part of the process, and most everyone goes through this when they leave for college. And I promise it will work out. I promise.
have you received your martyr medal yet? Misty said a long time ago that she was sending mine.. but I still haven't gotten it. I'm afraid it might've been lost in the mail or something... or maybi she just hasn't sent it. So I was just curious if you've gotten yours yet.

I don't remember what I expected my first month at college to be like, but after a few weeks I wasn't having such a blast up here and after month things were about where you are now I'm guessing.
