"There was a definite process by which one made people into friends...

My camp friends are great. (Disclaimer: Don't get me wrong, ALL my friends are great. But recent events have led me to discuss my friends of the camp variety in this specific entry.) I'm sure some of you already knew what was going to happen on Friday, but it was exciting to me, so I will still discuss it. So, on Friday my mom and I were supposed to have some quality mother-daughter time because she asked me to stay home. It was odd, but I went along with it. Then, when we got home on Friday night, lo and behold, I see Amanda's car in my driveway. It was exciting. I get inside and I hear a knock on the door. It was some of the CITs!! Amanda, Blake, Jake, Maddie, and Brittany had all come to give me a surprise housewarming party!! Isn't theat excellent? And they stayed the night, and we stayed up real late just talking and having fun. (Learning Yoga from Jake, learning about periods from the girls, Learnign about wrestling from Blake, etc.) It was really great. I had been kind of in a slump for a couple days, and they brought me right out. Serisously, it's disturbingly ironic. Everytime I need a friend or cheering up or something, they really seem to know right when to come. It's weird. (A few of my other friends usually know too, and cheer me up as well, don't worry) So then on Saturday Maddie, Amanda and I went to the workshop with Dana Brown which was really fun. Dana - hook up with Jack, you guys are so cute! Then we all just kinda hung out the rest of the day. We went to an internet cafe and the mall and to Coeur d' Alene, and it was just great. Then, somehow by the end of the day it had dwindled down to just Jake and I. So, since it was his 18th birthday, we went out to dinner with his sister and their friend, then saw a movie (Wedding Date - ok, but kinda weird. It moved too fast, there was no visual character growth or change I thought), and then we went out to Northern Quest Casino! It was SO sweet!! Yeah, I lost my money (I set a limit at 20 bucks, and expected to lose it all, and did) We played Craps and it was so much fun!!! Honestly, I loved it! And Jake won 130 bucks! It was insane! It was his first time too. Good lord. And Jake's friend Russell won like 105. Jeez. And then there was me, lost 20. Oh well. It was way fun. Yeah, so my weekend so far has been way fun.

Today I didn't wake up till 1:30, and I hate sleeping late cuz I feel like I've wasted the day. Oh well. Here's my latest stress: the dance on Saturday. I NEED A DRESS. I have no idea what to wear, or do with my hair, or anything. I know Jake won't care what I do - I could go naked for all he cares (actually he suggested that), but still, I don't want to look like an idiot. Oh well, we'll see. Oh, and I have like, no money. Well, actually I kind of have a lot of money, but I need to use it all on stuff, and I don't know if I have enough for what i need. Oh well. (Hehe, I realize how bad it looks to make a post about losing 20 bucks gambling, and then talk about how I need money, but that's ok. I dont regret it, it was way fun!) So, I think that's about all. Happy end of the weekend everyone!
