I think this is the deepest thing I have ever heard you say, it's pretty cool though.
I was really disappointed that I didn't get to see you when I was in town, but most of my time was taken by the family.

Sadly this was not my original writing, it's something I cross-posted from a friend's journal, so feel free to do the same. But that doesn't mean I don't find the words any less true.

Secondly the “Love like you've never been hurt” is so true, I don’t think that I’ve truly love someone (excluding friends and family) in at least 3 years. I find every time I break up with someone I love a piece of me leaves with her, and I’m running out of pieces to give. Tear.

I fucking adore that quote. I was sorry I missed you too, you've been in conversations lately of mine with my friends concerning good people, hanging out, and drinking beer. I miss you pal. You really do have to follow that path of love like you've never been hurt. Sure it's scary, and you take each experience with you and grow, but you can't let it wittle you away. You have a lot to offer my friend, your strength, courage, integrity and honour are values I see represented highly in you and something anyone can admire from friend to lover (and optimally both). Take heed and take care and next time I see you we'll party it up twice as hard.

Hallelujah brother - sing the praises of gratitude.

A lot of it is recycled, I've seen it before, but I'm a big believer in reminders about things that count.
