Candy gave me a CD with the Eiffel 65 album (I lost my tape) and a couple of Peter Gabriel songs on it. Needless to say, I have been making an utter dork of myself, dancing around the living room and upsetting the dog.
Dru, she told me to pass along the "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" CD to you, so, uh... yeah, it's with me. *nods*
I cleaned my studio today, and only drew a little blood (taking apart the wire sculpture that was hogging the corner where my computer is). I also, through diligence and slight paranoia, managed to NOT get bitten by anything venomous. Trust me, the little buggers had plenty of opportunities.
Oh, yeah. Dru, I have a ton of your art supplies, including nice paint, brushes, and a large "Sad Punk" painting. They are creepy-crawly free, I promise.
I do not feel the least bit Christmassy. Not depressed or anything, I just don't seem to assign any significance to today or tomorrow. I see presents underneath the tree with my name on them, but I'm not giddy about opening them. If anything, I'm excited about Monday, because I'll be going up to see my nephews. I'm not sure if it's the recent stress (I kind of doubt it, since like I said, I'm not sad or worried about anything) or the fact that I really am placing more value in people than objects and holidays. I miss the excitement of Christmas Eve a bit, but at the same time, for some reason it feels empowering. Curious...
