Down: One of my boys was bitten quite tragically by the Idiot Bug and flipped me off, then looked astounded when I called him on it. Yeah, kid, I know what that means, probably more so than you do.
Up: One of the trouble kids falling sound asleep on the ride home, free ice cream courtesy of STAR, and a thank-you note from the girl I treated for heat exhaustion yesterday. It was written in green pen.
