Killing With Kindness

Augh, I think my parents are trying to kill me. I get home Friday, and we go out shopping for food (and mural supplies) until 10:30. Then yesterday I had to drive out to our doctor's office to get my TB test results (Negative, thanks), then back down to the EcoStation to talk to them about the mural. They were closed, so I drove back home, powernapped for an hour, and then my parents announced that they were going over to Nick and Moira's.

Nick and Moira did me a HUGE favor for my graduation gift, and essentially made affording all the preparation stuff (Live Scan fees, doctor's office visits, clothes, mural supplies, etc) much easier, so I wanted to thank them in person. They also had excellent sushi, and offered me some wine which smelled heavenly but I couldn't manage to choke down. So once again, I was out 'till about 10:30.

I was getting ready to go to bed at about 11, and my dad comes up to me and says, "We're getting up in a couple hours to go to Tahoe for Father's Day." Sonova... But it's Father's Day, and he's been having a horrible almost-a-full-year, so I stuck it out and we went hiking. I'm happy I did, but right now even sitting still I feel like I'm wavering or falling over. Augh. And I can't find my damn blacklight, too.

On the upside, it seems the braces really ARE worth it. we went up nearly 3,000 feet in elevation, and I wasn't in pain once. This means I may actually get to take SCUBA courses!

healing, tmj, tired, stuff
