STATE CHAMPIONS!!
Undefeated all season against 100+ teams
That track meet was just insane. First off, our 3200 relay ran the best time in years with an 8:15 and having Shane run under 2 for his 800 meter split. Everyone just ran their butts off and it payed off. Maybe not by a state medal, but by a great feeling of knowing what they just did. The meet just got incredible when Andrew jumped 7' in the high jump!!! I still really cant believe it! Holy Cats! Then Jacob broke our school pole vault record jumping 13'6"!! WOW Golden was disapointed by his 100 showing but redeemed himself in the 400 running 49 seconds and then winning the 200 by a half second! But one of the greatest showings (other than Andrews 7' jump) was the 1600 relay. Cassie went out at 50.1 for his 400 split putting us in the lead, followed by Kevin running a 51.1 and pulling away even more to hand off to Kendall who ran 51.2 to give to Mike Golden who finished 3 seconds ahead of 2nd place with a time of 48.00 for his relay split! Total time of 3:22.4, New D3 State record!, it was just an absolutly amazing race!! And with that win, Frankenmuth walked away with the State crown with 51 points, to Detroit Country Day's 47 and a half. GREAT JOB GUYS!!! I'm so proud :)
After that, I went to go play soccer tennis with Lisa and Lindsey at 10:30 or so but all the tennis courts didnt have lights on and it was too dark to play. SO we all went to go swimming. Sara, Lisa, Lindsey, Zach ( Sara and Lisa's brother), and I just chilled in the pool. It was a good time! I did a hand stand on the diving board and flipped in the water! It was fun! But then I had to leave cause I had been up since 5 yesterday morning and hadnt slept much. So I got home around 12:45 or so.
I just got back from Garret's (the coolest kid ever) open house (graduation party) and I heard the tornado sirens. Saw some people I havnt seen in awhile. Kelsey was there, that was really cool to see her. It's been a REALLY long time. Kelsey if you read this, we need to hang out!
Tonight I have no idea what is happening...sooo yeah. Laterz
