(no subject)
I figured I'd update before Andrew nudges me. lol Things have been going really good. I'm finally done school. I was pretty much done on April 27th but had to go back that following Monday and Thursday. Both fianls were a piece of cake. After the final on Thursday I drove to Philly for the first time by myself!!! I had to go pick up a sophoria giftcard that my mom won from Q102. I thought it was going to be like $50 or $100 but no, it was only $25. So my mom told me I could keep in since I drove all the way there for it. She was proud of me for driving there by myself and I was proud of myself as well. I only got lost once and that's just because I was being stupid and not folloing directions. The funny part is, I wasn't even in Philly yet, I was looking for the bridge. haha Anyways that was the biggest adventure for my week. That night I went and hung out at Drew, Bobby, and Macey's new place with Dana and Rachel. MAD FUN! Like I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Dana dropped me off at Joe's house at 7 in the morning and him and Joe P and just gotten in from Atlantic City. So we took like a 3 hour nap.
After I woke up, I went home and got my bathing suite on and met up with Dana. We came back to Joe's house and layed out by the pool for like two hours. Around 4 I went to CostCo and got some food for the jewelry party I was hosting at my house and picked my sister up from practice. I cleaned pretty much the whole house and Joe came over and spent the night cause my parents went on some overnight cruise to no where. haha The had a good time though so that's all that matters. Saturday I had work at 4 so I just sat around the house until my parents got back. I made $45 in tips and then got paid $125 for the week. I've been picking up a lot of shifts lately. It's keeping me busy and then after work I'm trying to get into the habit of going to the gym since it's right there, plus Joe doesn't get off work til like 4:30 or 5 so I would just be sitting around doing nothing. Anyways, after work I went to Joe's and got changed and then we went to Drew's place for a Cinco De Miao (sp?) party and to watch the fight. SO much fun once again. We stayed there until about 2 or 3 and then I drove us home.
Today I hosted that jewelry party....I got a lot of stuff, like pretty much my paycheck is gone. haha But I also get a lot of free stuff too so it's ok. It was nice. I got to see Emily again for the first time in like a month. Turns out she gets Monday's off instead of Friday's so we're going to have to work around that because Monday is busy at the Three Brothers and I gave myself off mostly Thursday's and Fridays. Whatev. As long as I'm making money. I applied for a job at the commisary and still haven't heard from them, but I saw Tonya and she's going to try and put in a good word for me. I kinda hope she does and then again I kinda hope she doesn't cause they are always breathing down your neck there and the hours aren't that great. The only good thing is the paycheck, plus I'd still be working at Three Brothers. I told my mom I'm going to need a job just to pay for gas....it's supposed to get up to like $4 a gallon during the summer!
Things are going great and I'm happy I'm finally done with school. It's nice not having to worry about it for a while. Next year I'll have my car and I'll be working at Three Brothers on the weekends so I'll still have money, and possibly I'll find a job at school too this way I can save up more. My goal this summer is to put half my paycheck from Three Brothers away and keep some this way I have some spending money. And hopefully if I get that other job I won't spend any of that and just use my Three Brother's paycheck as spening money. It really sucked this year not having any money to buy things when I wanted/needed things.
Well I'm going to go play some Mario (I'm at Joe's house and he's working on the kitchen haha). Peace!
