There is no genre more annoying than lit-crit. Honestly. There's an old Orwell essay, where he takes a paragraph-long sentence fron an english professor and cuts it down to size. His sentence says the same damn thing, only 100 times more clearly. Any time you write anything, you should leave a simplified point of entry for the reader. I don't care
