This is a cuff I made for my father's birthday this summer. I'm only just now getting into working with metal sheets and so I kept it pretty simple. Still though, I dig it and he does too! I put a tiny heart on the inside for him to find on his own later and when he did he sent me such a happy message. You can click the picture for a larger view. :)
Next up, the actual first thing I made with some copper. We're not going to show the two completely fail hearts I made before these. Or the pile of saw blades I broke being a spazz. >.<
Easy and light. I wear them almost everyday and I really dig how the copper has changed in color since making them. I get a lot of compliments on them as well which is really nice as they ARE very simple in design.
Next is a necklace and earrings I made for my mother's birthday. The better half and I had just moved and I literally unpacked my entire craft room, cleared a spot, made these, wrapped them up and passed out the day before her birthday. (I'm not a bad daughter! We'd spent the month and a half before that in a battle with an apartment complex over black mold in our apartment that forced us to live, with 4 pets, in one room sealed off to avoid the mold.)
I included a tiny heart on the back of the cross as well since I had put one on my father's piece earlier. Gotta be fair you know!
