So, friday night was really fun after a busy week, and then Saturday morning Katie, Mike and I went home. We were supposed to leave at 11 am, but mike had to hang around to sign his lease and stuff, so when we finally got home all that snow/rain stuff had really started. Then we left again and went to south lyon for my cousin's son's birthday party. He just turned three and he's sooo cute and smart. And I got to see alot of family and it was really nice.
My cousin and her husband are going to the superbowl today! They're the only people I know who are going and they're in the lower bowl in row thirty I think. This doesn't mean a whole lot to me except that liz's husband could sell they're tickets for about $8,000. And they got them for free from his business for selling a lot of nike products or something.
And while I was at my cousin's house, my grandma was acting really odd, even though that's how she always is. And I was wearing my Kalamazoo sweatshirt, so she instantly asked me, before I had even sat down, "so why do you have a Kalamazoo sweatshirt? is it because of a certain boy?" and I had to pause for a second to figure out what she was implying. Then I had to explain that I just had a kalamazoo sweatshirt, I didn't have a reason. And I felt silly.
THEN, we left the party and went over to south lyon high school to see the winterguard, which was really awesome. I got there just in time to see them and then we left pretty soon afterwards. I wanted to say hi to everyone but I didn't know where they had gone. But I got to see Sam and Erin and Katiel, who were all in the stands too. Then I came home and read more. And now I'm back and I have a five page spanish paper to right. Tomorrow's only the first draft is due but the first draft is usually the only thing I write for papers anyways! And I have a shitload of math.
But did you guys see all the people parked at the zoo taking the shuttle to Detroit?? There were soooo many people, and the cops were blocking certain lanes on woodward and then ten mile, and I don't know why. AND, the shooting that happened the night before last? A 24 year old girl got killed in line for a club. Apparently people got pushed and someone happened to have a semi-automatic and she got killed and her boyfriend is seriously injured. Man, as much as I think detroit is awesome, it's terrifying. They have survelance cameras that got footage of the shooting, but they don't know who did it or anything.
Well, I hope everyone has a fun time doing homework, watching football, watching the pistons, playing video games, reading or whatever everyone's plans are for today.
