So I know that Bloomberg made a big announcement last night and all, and I'm glad for him that he's leaving the Republican party... But really, does everyone have to make him the focus of the news cycle for a full day? Yes, we all get it, he's probably gonna do a Ross Perot and run for President and then really annoy the hell out of me, but do we have to spend this much time focusing on only a potential candidate?... on WNYC this morning someone mentioned the possibility of the race for the White House being a New York smack-down, and though the comment made me laugh, the thought of that scenario becoming a reality makes me shudder.
