say what?
today i went to see my friend james in oakland so that he can do some energy bodywork (instead of regular massage) on me. (in case you're wondering, the difference is - you're mostly clothed, no oils, no deep tissue massage, although i would call it yoga/energy bodywork ahah).
i haven't had it done since my last job and was in desperate need of having one and finally i got to do it today. trust me, i know something was up w/my body to begin with i really asked him as if i was pleading that he has to work on me. i have this cough that has not left my system in over a month, of course i have allergies too, but the thing that troubles me is that i had a hard time breathing, which was the main reason i had to stop working out (you need to breathe well when you workout). so he started off on my right leg...stiff as hell but he was working on it...and when he hit the calf muscle....the feeling from the calf to my toes (just on the right side) was gone.
it was numb as hell. i was like, " WTF james, wtf was that?" as i was saying this, i noticed he was on the right of me both of his hands up as if he was saying, "that's not me." i was like thinking oh shit....then i was like "there...there's something there!" he was like one sec...walked out of the room, came back in with water...my left leg, i felt, and i also wiggled my toes...could not for the life of me move, turn that leg, but i was able to move the toes a little. with the water cup in his hand, i closed my eyes. he started sprinkling water on my leg. i knew what he was doing w/o him telling me, and when he was done, i said, "james, dood, there was a hand on my foot before you went out." he was like, "yeah i know; i did that to let the spirit move." i even demonstrated on my hand (pretending it was my foot, and how that feeling of the grasp was). he was like, "you might be one of those people that attracts spirits." makes so much sense. weird shit happens sometimes, or i can't figure out wtf is wrong with me. but i gotta tell you, that spirit might be the one that was causing me to not breathe/think/sleep lately. he even said so himself. it was the freakiest feeling in the world EVER. to KNOW your friend wasn't holding your foot and something else was. wow....
yeah i'm getting another session again. even though he said he needs to work on me some more, i already know why (my body misses bodywork) and have already agreed to it. yay! next week again! xD
