1. What is in the back seat of your car right now?
A take-out bag that I'm pretty sure is empty, a couple of notebooks and one Lane's baby toys.

2. When was the last time you threw up?
Ah... somewhere in my last year of college, I'm sure.

3. What’s your favorite curse word?
I don't really have one. I'm surprisingly curse free.

4. Name three ( Read more... )

39. Are you allergic to anything?
Sport?

Do you break out in hives or something?

Yeah, and I also find myself with a fever and unable to move. Sometimes I even see funny little lights.

Hey, we can do the unable to move thing together. I'm an expert, you know. Better keep Jess on standby for CPR.

You know, I still don't really know Jess' official stance on sport. He once had a black eye from throwing around a football. I don't think he really watches it... But having him handy for CPR could help.

Maybe in the New Year we could do the not moving thing together. I wouldn't mind a trip to New York.

He got a black eye from throwing a football? I don't think he was throwing it right. My inner Quarterback is not laughing right now. Promise.

Maybe we could wander around aimlessly together and get lost together? Or you could wander, I could ride around behind you. At least them we won't have the completely daunted blank gaping look on our faces alone.

So you were the Quarterback, huh? Isn't that like the most popular position?

That's true. I did once try and give a lady directions because she asked me like I was a native... but I sent her in the wrong direction. Or you could always try and come here to Stars Hollow and I could show you around. You'd get to see Kirk being Kirk, and maybe witness a Miss Patty dance recital.

Sure, but it's also the hardest. QB1 might sound glamorous but it isn't for the fainthearted. My poor replacement was thrown in the deep end the night of my accident, but he's a good kid. He came out well in the end. I helped coach him into the position.

A dance recital? I'm scared. I don't have to join in, do I? I don't think I could pull off a tutu.

I still don't know how you guys put up with all those hits. It looks so painful, and I've only ever seen highlight packages.

No, but you can definitely join in the mocking. Just be grateful you'll never have to witness Kirk directing Miss Patty's solo show. That was... an experience.

We're well-padded. Clearly not padded enough sometimes, though. I'm hardly a pariah for football safety.

Is this Kirk... special?

Yeah, but I'm sure you did wear everything you were supposed to. Accidents happen, as lame as that sounds.

That's one way to put it. He's very entertaining, although he can also be scary.

I guess. I just really wanted to make that tackle.

Sounds like my mate, Herc. Only... he doesn't leave much to the imagination. He told me babies like vaginas in porn magazines because they just came out of one and it's like looking at a postcard.

Would you do anything differently knowing what happened?

...

I can't even begin to know what to say to that other than... ew.

I guess the right answer would be yes because at the end of the day I would rather not be paralysed, but game-wise, I doubt it. I was quite passionate about the game. Actually, that was an understatement. Football has been my life since I was a kid.

He is not backward in coming forward. He was my roommate in rehab and basically my savior. He pushed me and provoked me out of my funk to show me what I could be capable of despite the injury.

So are you going to give serious thought to coaching kids?

And regaled you with babies and porn? It's great you had someone to get you through. Do you still talk to him and see him?

I should, I know. Since I got to New York, though, I seem to have contracted a serious case of Procrastinateitis.

He wanted to regale my baby with porn when I threw his stash out. He wasn't impressed. I lived with him for close to a year before I moved to New York. He was the one that taught me Quad Rugby and got me into the try-outs for the National team that was headed for Bejing. I didn't get accepted, though. It was because I didn't know enough of how to handle the chair but maybe one day. He also taught me to drive again after the accident.

I can understand that. Maybe you're waiting until you know the City more?

I'm sure he got himself some more porn. Guys are good like that. Oh wow, that would have been such an amazing experience. Even if you didn't get in, that was huge just to get to try-outs. So you're good with a car?
