spot of humour amidst the muck
In an effort to combat the day's utter misery and crapitude, I'm stealing work web to share a tiny spark of amusement from Sunday's FA Cup tie at Stamford Bridge.
Midway through the second half, Chelsea win a corner and Frank goes across to take it. The camera zooms in. A female fan, mid-twenties maybe, is in the stands just behind the corner flag. Frank bends over to place the ball. The girl raises one arm, stretches out her hand, and performs a very obvious air grope, grinning to beat all.
I'm sure the blokes next to me in the pub wondered why I and _backpages_ totally cracked up laughing at this point. But come on, ladies! If you're going to do that on camera, at least make it a proper grab with both hands and the 'wah wah' sound effect. None of this wee pinching nonsense. Honestly.
Well, today still sucks hairy feet. But I hope the rest of you enjoyed a giggle or two.
